Tattoos, whether they are tiny or not, are permanent. Keep this in mind when you are choosing your design and placement as it will be with you for your lifetime. You can bring your own artwork, or you can have Tania design one for you based on your ideas. A well thought out tattoo can bring you joy for years to come. The possibilities are endless.
TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Prior to your appointment it's important to care for your skin where the tattoo will be placed. Make sure there are no open wounds or sores and that the area is clean and moisturized. Advise Tania of any medications you are on, as they may interfere with healing. If the appointment is a long one, come prepared with headphones, a tablet or book if you wish, and water bottle or drink. Wear comfy, loose fitting clothes.
AFTERCARE
Be prepare to keep your Tegaderm patch on for 3-5 days. Once removed, gently clean your tattoo with a mild cleanser with your fingers and pat dry with a soft paper towel. Do not rub or pick at the tattoo. Use a fragrance free moisturizer daily to keep the skin soft. Once healed be sure to use at least and SPF25 sunscreen on the tattoo at all times to keep it from fading and to protect your investment.
